She had once been wronged,
In her prime,
A lady reserved and tendered,
Life wasn't so fair,
Or at least so she thought.

Will you?,
But this was not the solemn one,
Done at holy matrimony
But by her own father,
Before she could say "I won't"
Blood already flowed through her private parts.

But now she's no more a child
But still hurt by what her father's done,
She can'relate with others,
Her friends are getting husbands,
But still she is still
Wearing wristbands up and down the city.

And she made up her mind
That love's a fallacy,

Woke up one Monday morning,
Going to work as usual,
Then came one man with a suit, tie, and watch
